For one of the best views Norah Head has to offer, you can't look past a trip to the iconic Norah Head Lighthouse. Built from 1901 to 1903, this favourite icon boasts not only a rich history but also views unlike anything else you'll experience on the Central Coast. Magical by day, sunrise, sunset and even evening, the Norah Head Lighthouse is an absolute must for locals and visitors.
With a walking track surrounding the lighthouse and a set of stairs that lead to a rock platform and also to Lighthouse Beach, there are plenty of spots to stop and take in the ocean vistas. For those who don't mind paying a little bit of money, you can even enjoy a tour of the inside of the lighthouse. Running from 10am until 1pm, 7 days a week, the view you will witness from atop of the lighthouse makes it all well and truly worth it.
Located on a narrow block, the land acts as a separator for the sea and Tuggerah Lake. If you get there and realise you love the views too much to leave right away, there are even two cottages that sleep up to 8 people available for overnight stays.
